Meet the Bang team


Wayne Marshall, Project Director – Director (Chair):

Wayne has twenty four years of youth work experience in urban locations including the boroughs: Brent, Haringey, Barnet, Southwark, Harrow and Hackney. Twenty two years of those have involved managing youth work, working with heads of departments, principals, vice principals, members of senior management teams in schools and colleges as well as chief executives of special educational needs departments and senior staff in corporate organisations responsible for funding community social enterprises. For the past 4 years his role has been director for Young Visions – a Pembroke House Project – working to raise young people’s aspiration.

Noel Anderson, Project Manager – Director:

Noel has over ten years experience in the data side of the Telecommunications industry. In particular, Noel played an integral part in the design and deployment of the International backbone of a large Telecommunications company. Noel is currently working as a Project Manager where he is responsible for ensuring the successful rollout of large network rollouts and upgrades; this involves the management of teams of people from different departments spread across different countries.

Chris Buss, Management Consultant – Director:

Chris runs his own successful consultancy, Polymetis and has been involved with the organisation for the past 5 years. Chris has worked with many organisations, both in the voluntary and public sector on a range of projects. His work involves bid writing, strategic and change development and organisational development.

Staff Team

Jennifer Ogole – CEO:

Jennifer has over 15 years experience working in disadvantaged communities and has an MA in Urban Regeneration. Jennifer founded BANG Edutainment and has grown the organisation from inception to its current status as one of North London’s leading youth charities. As the CEO of BANG, Jennifer has raised funding from trusts, won regeneration contracts, established partnerships with statutory and public agencies, developed training courses and delivered activities to over 5000 beneficiaries. She is passionate about developing skills and creating opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Alex Mastihi – Project Director

Alex is responsible for the development of all BANG Edutainment’s accredited Training. He became involved in this field through his passion for music, beginning as a club DJ and moving into radio, events & promotions. He studied a Music Technology degree that built a comprehensive range of media production skills, and went on to work in a number of areas including TV, post production and live events, as well as teaching music, radio, engineering and technology. Alex joined BANG in 2002 as a tutor, and since then has helped the organisation grow from strength to strength.

Helen Poole – General Manager.

Helen has been with the organisation for over three years after joining as Admin and Finance Officer in 2005. She previously worked as General Manager for Paines Plough Theatre Company, specialising in the production and touring of original theatre both in the UK and Internationally. She has produced theatre in the West End, for the Edinburgh Festival and internationally in New York, Berlin, Dublin and Lisbon.

Minal Patel – Connexions PA / Training Coordinator

Minal has been with BANG for three years. Her role focuses on recruiting young people for BANG’s training project activities, supporting them whilst they’re with us, and then helping them to progress on to employment or further education afterwards. This often involves one-to-one work with young people to help them overcome difficulties such as school exclusion, family problems or homelessness. Minal is also currently delivering personal development and employability skills sessions as part of our B Logic entry to employment programme for 16-18 year olds. In the time that Minal has been with us she has played an important part in developing our activities for young people.
